Truly gifted vocalists leave me in awe. I wish I could sing and move someones´s soul with my voice. Or surprise with my performance.
Like Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, Maria Callas,… or just like that Young Boy who covered a song by Lady G.
I wish I had their gift and audacity. Just imagine- Susanne Doyle, laughed at, ridiculed – she had the last laugh.
Or Whitney Houston with “I will always love you” (without the Saxophon playing).
Just having their voice – it´s only logical that I would turn into a diva. With such a powerful voice, a trained and skilled voice, my mind had every right to be on edge. I could have a big hair day, crazy hat day, or a “giving Interviews not in a sitting but lying position (thanks Mariah). And if that was too grand – the next day I am a bag lady.
No matter what people say, once you start singing, all the stupidity is silenced. That´s truly divine.
But it´s also a the result of hard work.
The only common trait I share with them is a tendency for wild gestures.
1) any given monday I wish I could welcome the day in such a manner
but maybe resemble more him, which is totally unimportant. Because who cares?

2) and If I was very snotty and smart, I definitely would do this:

3) If I had the desire to bring it on, I´d choose this way

Note: I think Whitney Houston has been treated unfairly.
With all that buzz about Charlie Sheen? Whitney has done it all. (remember the interview? “Whitney´s never gonna be fat?”, “Crack is whack?”)
As they say – she was ahead of her time.
SHE should sell her own t-shirts.
Singing is not an option for me, sadly. So is neither this:
